Confederation of Indian Industry (CII)

The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) works to create and sustain an environment conducive to the growth of industry in India, partnering industry and government alike through advisory and consultative processes.

CII is a non-government, not-for-profit, industry led and industry managed organisation, playing a proactive role in India's development process. Founded over 115 years ago, it is India's premier business association, with a direct membership of over 8100 organisations from the private as well as public sectors, including SMEs and MNCs, and an indirect membership of over 90,000 companies from around 400 national and regional sectoral associations

The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE)

The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE), was founded in 1992 in Silicon Valley by a group of successful entrepreneurs, corporate executives, and senior professionals with roots in the Indus region. There are currently 13,000 members, including over 2,500 charter members in 56 chapters across 13 countries. TiE’s mission is to foster entrepreneurship globally through mentoring, networking, and education. Dedicated to the virtuous cycle of wealth creation and giving back to the community, TiE’s focus is on generating and nurturing our next generation of entrepreneurs.

The foremost and most widely known event that TiE hosts is TiEcon, which is the largest professional and networking conference for entrepreneurs. TiE also hosts a wide range of programs events catering to various industry verticals, educational events hosted by TiE Institute, TiE Young Entrepreneurs (TYE) program to foster entrepreneurship in our youth, and TiE Women’s Forum for empowering women entrepreneurs.

Indo American Chamber of Commerce (IACC)

Established in 1968, the Indo-American Chamber of Commerce (IACC) is a non-government, industry led and industry-managed organization, playing a proactive role in Indias development process and serves as a much needed link between the business communities of India and the United States of America. IACC is the only bilateral Chamber of Commerce in India, which is committed to development of Indo-US business and trade relations.

The major objective of IACC is to promote Indo-American business, trade and economic relations. IACC promotes bilateral trade, investment and technology transfer, facilitates business collaborations, joint ventures, marketing tie-ups and strategic alliances through a set of proactive business-oriented initiatives. In particular has established the following objectives :

  • Facilitate exports of manufactured and agricultural products from India
  • Facilitate US-based SMEs to do business with India
  • Promote Environment-related trade between India and US
  • Facilitate Collaboration between Hollywood & Bollywood
  • Facilitate US Investments in India’s Real Estate sector
  • Facilitate outsourcing of services from US to India

Bangalore Chamber of Industry & Commerce (BCIC)

Bangalore Chamber of Industry and Commerce (BCIC) was founded in 1976 with its headquarters at Bangalore, by a group of corporate captains who wanted an effective organization to project the views of the large and medium industries in Karnataka. The BCIC's goal has been to create a congenial climate in the State for the development of industry, business, service, infrastructure, internal and external trade. The Bangalore Chamber of Industry and Commerce (BCIC) is affiliated to the Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry (ASSOCHAM) and Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), New Delhi.

BCIC has over 550 members spread throughout the State of Karnataka. Besides large and medium industries in the Manufacturing Sector, the Membership includes Organisation and Companies in information Technology, Banking Services, R & D Sectors, consultants which includes professionals, lawyers etc.

All India Management Association (AIMA)

The All India Management Association (AIMA) was created as an apex body of professional management with active support of the Government of India and Industry in 1957. AIMA is a group- a body to pool management thoughts in the country, a forum to develop a national managerial ethos, an orgnisation to facilitate the furtherance of the management profession in the country.

AIMA is a federation of Local Management Associations (LMAs). AIMA today affiliates 58 LMAs across the country and two Co-operating management associations i.e. Qatar Indian Management Association and Mauritius Management Association.

AIMA has established close linkages with over 3000 institutions and over 30,000 individual professionals directly and through network of the Local Management Associations. AIMA’s activities include Distance management Education, management Development Programmes, national Events, Competitions, Research, Publication and Testing Services.
